Sandro Perković․ That was the main goal of the season

Head coach of Noah, Sandro Perković, gave an interview to the Croatian media.

 

Everything is good, we achieved a positive result recently, and the mood is wonderful. I will spend a few days in Zagreb and then return to work.
 

The fans were very proud of earning a place in the group stage. I am very happy and proud. I can say that this is a great achievement for our club and for Armenian football. This is the first time that an Armenian club has qualified for the main stage of a European competition for the second year in a row. I must note that it was not an easy road.
 

This success makes me very happy. This was the main goal of the season. Noah is a very young club, only 7–8 years old. It has a new president, who bought the club a few years ago and has been investing his own funds. This is a privately owned club, and the president wants to achieve great success. I am confident that in the future this club will achieve major accomplishments and make its name in football.
 

Last season, Noah had an excellent campaign, winning the Armenian championship, the Cup, and qualifying for the league phase of the Conference League. We want to repeat that. The first goal was to qualify for the League phase of a European competition. We knew the most realistic direction was the Conference League. The second goal is to win the championship. Since we have already achieved our first goal, now we must focus on the league.
 

In any case, in Europe we still want to show ourselves at our best. It will not be easy for anyone to compete with us, and if the opportunity arises to reach the Conference League play-off stage, we will definitely try to be the first to achieve that.
