Noah is in the Conference League league phase

Armenian champion Noah played the return match of the UEFA Conference League playoff round, where they faced Olimpija Ljubljana.
 

After an impressive 4-1 victory in the first leg, Sandro Perković’s players were ready to deliver another beautiful evening for the fans on home soil.
 

On August 28, the Vahagn Tumanyan Stadium in Abovyan was once again packed to capacity.
 

The Armenian champions stepped onto the pitch with the same mindset as in the first match. Their early pressure paid off in the 13th minute of the first half. After a sharp cross from Marin Jakoliš on the left wing, the rebound off the goalkeeper was sent into the net by Noah’s most effective player of the season, Hélder Ferreira.
 

Just seven minutes later, the scoreboard already showed 2-0. The Ferreira–Aias combination was simply unstoppable, and the Brazilian striker doubled his team’s lead.
 

In the second half, the opponents had nothing to lose and tried to fight back. First, the visitors reduced the deficit through a penalty kick, and then made it 2-2. However, Noah’s substitute Hovhannes Harutyunyan turned a fantastic counterattack into a goal, making it 3-2. The team’s newcomer became the scorer of the decisive and final goal of the match.
 

With a 7-3 aggregate victory, Noah prevailed over the Slovenian champions Olimpija and achieved another historic result in Armenian football — qualifying for the group stage of the UEFA Conference League for the second year in a row.
 

After the match, Noah’s head coach Sandro Perković first of all sincerely congratulated his players, the staff, and everyone involved in the club. He also expressed gratitude to all the fans who were at the stadium and those who supported the team along the way.
 

The Croatian specialist emphasized that he is very happy Noah has qualified for the group stage of the Conference League for the second consecutive year, which is historic for Armenia.
 

Hélder Ferreira, who scored a goal and provided an assist during the match, said he felt wonderful emotions and was very happy to help the team with both a goal and an assist, but stressed that the most important thing is qualifying for the group stage of the Conference League for the second year in a row.
 

The Portuguese player also thanked the fans, noting that they always support the team.
