Noah’s Croatian winger, Marin Jakoliš, shared his thoughts on the match against Pyunik:
"I am very happy about the goals and the victory. I think the first goal was exactly as the coach instructed us during training, and we executed it perfectly during the match. We have great quality in the attacking line, and we used it very well. Then came the second goal. We know very well the excellent shooting ability of Helder, and at that moment he was alone. We changed the direction of the attack, I passed the ball to Helder, who finished it brilliantly.
You know, Pyunik is a strong team. This was a derby, and when you play a derby, you know you have to win. It doesn’t matter how you play. I think we didn’t play our best game today, but the great thing is that even when you don’t play well, you can still win. Today we showed that even when we don’t play well, even when it’s windy, we can win and earn the three points, which is what we were fighting for today.
I don’t think we need extra motivation. Today we showed that we can compete with any opponent in every game. We want to win that match. A tough game is ahead. In the coming weeks, there will be challenging matches, but we will keep moving forward—game by game. As I said, on Monday we will prepare again, the next day as well, and next weekend we will go to win that game," said Jakoliš.
