A draw in the Yerevan derby

On September 20, at the FFA Technical Center/Football Academy Stadium, the 7th round match of the Fastex Premier League between Ararat-Armenia and Noah took place.
 

KICK-OFF

The match was extremely tense and fiercely contested. Already in the 4th minute, the referee, Henrik Nalbandyan, sent off the home team’s player Welton.
 

FIRST GOAL

Noah, taking advantage of their numerical superiority, opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the first half. However, a few minutes later, Ararat-Armenia quickly equalized following a counterattack.
 

SECOND HALF

The second half was even more eventful. Noah’s Bosnian forward Mulahuseynovich once again stood out with his accuracy, scoring a second goal to complete his double.
 

In the 65th minute, the referee Henrik Nalbandyan once again showed a red card, this time to Noah’s Croatian winger Marin Jakoliš. This moment proved to be pivotal. After the teams’ numerical difference was equalized, Ararat-Armenia managed to regain the lead for the second time. In the 81st minute, the goal was scored by Artur Serobyan. However, the intense events of the match were not over.
 

THIRD RED CARD OF THE MATCH

In the ranks of the reigning Armenian champions, substitute Virgil Pinson was sent off with a straight red card in the 88th minute, leaving Noah with 9 players.
 

The match ended in a hard-fought 2-2 draw.
 

After this game, Noah, with 10 points, is currently in 4th place in the league standings.
 

The next match for the Yerevan team will take place on September 24 at 19:00 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, where they will face Van from Charentsavan.
