On October 5, the 9th round match of the Fastex Premier League between Urartu and Noah took place at the Urartu-1 Stadium in Yerevan.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The hosts started the match quite actively. Noah’s slight fatigue was noticeable, as the players had played a tough UEFA Conference League qualifying match just 3 days earlier.
ČANČAREVIĆ’S SAVE
In the 40th minute, referee Artem Gasparyan awarded a penalty to Noah’s goal. The hero of that moment was Ognյen Čančarević, who made an excellent save to prevent his team from conceding a goal.
SECOND HALF AND NOAH’S DISALLOWED GOALS
In the second half, Noah began to take more control of the game. Our team even managed to score twice against the opponent, but unfortunately, the goals were disallowed. In both cases, Gustavo Sangaré was the goalscorer; in the first instance, the midfielder had fouled an opponent, and in the second, the goal was ruled offside.
The match ended in a goalless draw.
LEAGUE STANDINGS
After this match, Noah sits in 3rd place with 17 points. With one game in hand, they are only 2 points behind Alashkert, who are currently in first place.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Fastex Premier League has gone on an international break and will resume on October 18. On that day, Noah will play against Urartu again in the first match of the second round at home.
